Who this course is for
Complete beginners of any age — children starting out, adults who never had the chance to learn, and reverts opening a mushaf for the first time. No previous knowledge is assumed.
What you will learn
- Recognising and pronouncing all 28 Arabic letters
- Letter shapes at the start, middle and end of a word
- Short vowels (harakat) and joining letters into syllables
- Long vowels (madd), sukoon and shaddah
- Noon and meem sakinah, and basic stopping rules
- Reading short words and then complete verses with confidence
How the classes run
One-to-one classes of 30 or 45 minutes, or a small group if you prefer. Your teacher works at your pace — nobody is moved on before the letters are secure.
What you will be able to do by the end
By the end you will read Qur’anic Arabic from the mushaf accurately, letter by letter, and be ready to begin recitation with Tajweed.
